Poetry
Thinking about one of my favorites smells I’d have to say that I love the smell of old library books. Its been a while but today I went to the library, I took 3 books about poetry and just reading the lines makes me wonder. Nobody loves anybody that much anymore. You could feel the pain and heartbreak in every letter, in every single word. So between Neruda and Lord Byron I found myself writing this blog and thinking about great loves. Love, its just not the same anymore. nobody writes poetry anymore, through the years we have forgotten how to love, really love someone. Someone that can make you so sad and so miserable at the same time, a love that endures time and distance, a love so real it can forgive everything, overlook everything and blind you. A love so deep it controls your every move and you loose all control over yourself. I just wonder how many people love each other that way these days. How many couples are really together because of love. How many people are falling in love right now and how many people are crying because of a broken heart. Well if you ever get bored and decide to do something better than being on facebook or watching tv I’d recommend you go to the library, get a few books and loose yourself in the pages of great writers. I guarantee you won’t regret it.
